A word about being singer-songwriters. We are like regular people only we get this bug inside of us that keeps wanting to come out and express itself like a caterpillar always on the verge of becoming a butterfly. If it doesn’t get its moment to flutter about, ever so slowly, it begins to die. As those Pink Floyd lyrics go, “Hello? Is there anybody out there?”
That’s all we want. We want to give birth to a beautiful butterfly and we want someone to see it, hear it. All we have to do is look at an actual butterfly to notice how unique each one is in its expression. The artist in us – and guess what, the artist in you – is the same way.
