During our last show, Sweet Sounds Around Town, we announced that we are doing a Pre-Sale for Album 2 on our MERCH page with place-holder cover art. Feel free to check that out along with some other stuff we have there. The t-shirts are coming soon!
Here’s an update of where we are with our album: We are doing final mixes with Ed Tree, an engineer extraordinaire in the greater Los Angeles area, and musician in his own right. It will be a twelve-track album, which includes a Russian translation of the title track, In Your Eyes or Tvoi Glaza.
We, Paul McCarty and Marina Gutman-McCarty, produced and wrote all of the songs and sing all the vocals, with Paul on guitar, harmonica, and percussion, Marina on ukulele and percussion. Other musicians include Chad Watson on bass, Damien De La Cruz on drums, Phil Parlapiano on accordion and piano. Ed Tree is mixing and David Williams will master the album.
We are also working on a behind-the-scenes video that will be coming out sometime before the release. On that note, we have a phone appointment with a drone operator today to talk about our upcoming music videos for the songs on the next album, Hey, Hey, Come Around and Melancholy Sky.
